Week of Respect / Red Ribbon Week:

Every October, the Week of Respect and Red Ribbon Week are observed by schools across the state and/or nation in order to educate and encourage youth participation in: (a) character education and (b) drug awareness and prevention activities.  During these week-long celebrations, the school counselors and the student assistance counselor work in collaborative efforts to plan and implement school-wide events, including classroom guidance lessons, assembly programs and other engaging activities, with the goal of spreading positive messaging throughout the school community.
