Project Unify

Project Unify is an inclusive program run through the Special Olympics. The goal of this program is to integrate Special Education students into what would otherwise be only a general education program. For example, welcoming students with Special Needs into a pre-existing club or extracurricular activities. The main goal of our club will be to have students who sign up, help us integrate our Special Needs students into the already existing programs and create new and fun opportunities that are student-led. This will hopefully lead to our program being able to host or compete in interscholastic Special Olympic events in the distant future.  These events can be completed individually, as a team, or as a Unified Team (gen ed and SPE students).
