To All Parents/Guardians and Students:
The Haledon Public School will be closed beginning March 16, 2020 and will be closed
until further notice.
The closure is due to the health concerns of the CORONAVIRUS (Covid – 19). The
school district is committed to providing a “thorough and efficient” education for our
students. Therefore, we will provide continuity of services remotely by transitioning to
online and remote instruction.
Teachers will provide instruction during this time. Students will be expected to log onto
google classroom and complete assigned work. Teachers will be available during
regularly scheduled school hours to assist students.
All co-curricular and athletic activities are postponed until further notice including aftercare.
Starting Monday, March 16, 2020, the Board of Education will provide access to “Grab
and Go” breakfast and lunch packages. District employees will facilitate distribution of
breakfast bags from 9:00 am – 10:00 am and lunch bags from 12:00 -1:00 pm in the
small gym.
Furthermore, we will be in constant contact with all families via social media, robo-call,
and email updating you on the district status moving forward.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact your child’s guidance counselor,
case manager, or administrator during regular school hours.
