Week of Respect / Red Ribbon Week

Every October, the Week of Respect and Red Ribbon Week are observed by schools across the state and/or nation in order to educate youth and encourage their participation in character education / drug awareness and prevention activities.  During these week-long celebrations, the school counselors and the student assistance counselor work in collaborative efforts to plan and implement school-wide activities, classroom guidance lessons, assembly programs and other measures to help spread positive messaging throughout the school community.
