*** Revised Procedures for Public Attendance at a Board of Education Meeting ***

PUBLIC NOTICE
HALEDON PUBLIC SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION
REVISION TO ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE PROCEDURE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Haledon Public School District hereby amends its annual meeting notice to confirm that the public meetings scheduled for 2021 shall be both an in-person and remote meeting in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act and the emergency regulations set forth in N.J.A.C. 5:39-1.1 et seq. The meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium, located at 91 Henry Street, Haledon, New Jersey 07508. Action will be taken at these meetings.
To ensure capacity limits are not exceeded, the Haledon Board of Education requires all attendees to fill out a Public Attendance Request Form, located under Board of Education/Public Attendance, no later than noon on the day of the meeting. The District will try to limit capacity to twenty-five people for an in-person gathering, inclusive of Board members, administrators, and staff present in the meeting room.

Members of the public may also attend the meetings remotely via Zoom. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board strongly encourages members of the public to attend meetings via Zoom. To access the meetings remotely, please visit www.haledon.org.
Individuals wishing to make public comment during any of the meetings may do so in the following ways: (1) in person, if they are able to attend in person; (2) via Zoom, for those using Zoom on an electronic device; (3) via telephone for those who dial into the Zoom meeting via telephone; or (4) through written submissions, which must be sent to [email protected] for email comments or to the Board Secretary/John Serapiglia for letters sent via mail or hand delivery at 91 Henry Street, Haledon, New Jersey 07508. Written comments must be received no later than noon on the day of the meeting.

Copies of the agenda will be available for those who attend in person, and anyone attending either in person or remotely can also access the agenda and all related documents at the Board's BoardDocs webpage, htips://qo.boarcidocs.comini/haledon/Boarcl.nsf/Public. The agenda for a meeting will be available two days before the meeting.
