** Summer Food Service Program **

Haledon Public School Board of Education is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identify and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:

Wildcat Community:
 
We know that this is the most unique and perhaps the most challenging year in the history of New Jersey Public Education.  The Covid-19 pandemic has absolutely changed all aspects of society, and it has indeed altered the traditional structure of instruction at the Haledon Public School.
 
          We have invested heavily in safety protocols and prioritized safety planning so that the Wildcat staff and students that enter the building will be in as safe an environment as possible.  We have also embraced a totally new style of instruction. We will be live-streaming our lessons so that the students at home are able to see, hear, and communicate with our teachers in real-time.  We know that this is a style of instruction that we have never before delivered, and we know that we will hit bumps in the road along the way.  The great news is that we also know that our students, our staff, and our parents will all get a bit more familiar with this each and every day.  I am proud of the efforts of our staff, excited about the enthusiasm we have seen from students, and grateful for the support our community has shown us as we transition into this uncharted educational journey.  Go Wildcats!
